Umera Ahmed’s Interview
Umera Ahmed (born in 10, December 1974 in Sialkot) is an Urdu novelist and screenplay writer who is mostly popular for writing Peer-e-Kamil (پیر کامل).
Umera Ahmed first published her stories in monthly Urdu digests such as Khawateen Digest (خواتین ڈاجسٹ) and Shua’h (شعاع). Her stories are still published in episodic format every month in various digests, and are eventually released as separate novels. Her novels Man-o-Salwa, Lahasil and Amar Bail have been adapted into drama series and aired on Hum TV. She is a teacher at Army Public College in Sialkot.

whenever i tried to understand Allah i have always been able to find ananswer in umera creations .i always wanted to know her views regarding her magnus opus peer kamil.Although this interviews does satisfy a little and it would definitely give a peep into the mind of contemporary golorious writer umera certainly for new comer this interview would be quite satisfying.still i love these people ’s effort to bring out her interview

when i started peer e kamil, i was not sure it will stuck me and will compel me to take leave from my office and after that i read it in three days and nights, even i awake by 5 oclock morning, and first time i was inspired by a female’s work, i am working with 30 british professional, being a professional i was proud to compete wth european but after this book i can imagin i am tiny particle on surface, and thanks alot to umera ahmed, and very soon i will meet her,i will break all of my busy schedule and will reach her,zeeshan khan

Yes she is good personlity, she was our teacher in Aramy Public School Sialkot.
She write as per women point of view, The way women look the world her novels contain Softness like an Caring person touch.
Its my point of view and may be wrong so do not panic Please
If you read Bano Qudsia she writes as bold and Put pressure on the charcters which she is discussing Am not comparing any one as writing can not be compared every writer tries to express her/him Self in Natural way.

My favourist novalist umaira ahmed’s interview is here, i’m a big fan of her. she is realy the legend of Pakistan’s urdu adab world. Who has the bleesings of ISLAM gifted from ALLAH, due to these blessing, she keeps on introducing the novels with the theme” ISLAM AND ITS ROLL IN HUMAN LIFE”. umaira’s novels are the strong replies about that “what exectly ALLAH & ISLAM”.
she has splendid writting skils, keen observer has broad senses about islam. I realy admire her for her creations and thoughts. my favourite novels are(Pee-e- kamil, Hasil, La hasil, Iman umeed aur mohbabat , mery zaat zarra-e- be nishan, Ab mera intezzar ker). right now, she is also playing tremendous roll in electronic media in shap of drama writer in different TV channels.

I really like her novels and admire her. I just come to know your source of observation as you said in your interview that you can’t judge the people but in your novels the description of the society, character of people especially today’s hot issue affair of girls and boys even married women are also involved in, shows your keen observation. I don’t feel any regret or shame in considering umera ahmed a bitterly realistic novelist.I know her novels are religious its good but she always draws a horrible figure of life in front of people esp one like me.she always concludes her novels with an extremely terrific and dejecting end. there is a tremendous effect of books on human’s mind and a writer should better leave a hopeful effect showing that there is hope and light in life in spite of leaving a regretful and a -ve effect showing that life is just a bitter reality.she always degrade relationship of a human with another human.

I think every writer has his/her own style of writing, so it’s tough to say who’s like Umera Ahmed. If you wanna read some good stuff of other writers, I’ll recommend you the novels by Farhat Ishtiyaq.

Assalam o alaikum Umera Ahmad. You have emerged as a prominent writer of our young generation. I always appreciate your sincere efforts in high lighting the vices and injustices prevailing in our society in an effective and poweful manner and you always keep your readers captivated and immensely involved from the beginning to the end. In a very gentle way you quite aptly transmit the pain and pathos that once your heart goes through onto that of your reader. Your stories often leave one’s mind shattered and shaken for quite a while so much so that it takes days to get over the impact. But let me tell you frankly that some of the dramas based on your stories fail to do justice to them. Your ongoing serial daam becoming very popular because of a good story, direction and acting I specially admire Asma’s acting.
