   Very nice. A nice collection from the Father of Urdu poetry. The poetry that possesses Mir is possessed by none indeed.

   Thank you for liking. And in my first post regarding Mir Taqi Mir, I already announced about a series of poets’ life and their poetry. I had already posted a brief introduction of Mir Taqi Mir’s life and have now posted related poetry. Next introduction will be posted soon.

   I must say, this is a very good collection, I really like it.

   Nice collection but many “Imla” (dictation) mistakes spoiled the taste.
   like:
   صحیح شعر اس طرح ہے

   مستی میں چھوڑ “دیر” کو کعبے چلا تھا میں
   لغزش بڑی ہوئی تھی “و لیکن” سنبھل گیا

   یاں کون سا ستم زدہ “ماٹی” میں مل گیا

   masti mein chowdh “daer” ko ka’abe chala tha mein
   laghzish badi huwi thi wa-lekin sambhal gaya

   yan kaun saa sitam-sadah “maati” mein mil-gaya
   any many more mistakes???
